Starting a care business is a system, not a stack of documents.

Company formation is the easy part. A viable provider also needs credible leadership, regulatory readiness, operating controls, financial discipline and a realistic route to customers.

The Launchpad replaces disconnected advisers and avoidable rework with one coordinated plan, clear responsibilities and practical decision points.

Build the provider and the pipeline together.

Track 01

Provider readiness

Develop a credible care operation while preparing for the relevant regulatory process.

  • Service model and business planning
  • Statement of purpose and governance
  • Policies, quality and safeguarding systems
  • Registered Manager preparation
  • HR, payroll, software and finance setup
Track 02

Early revenue and contracts

Some tenders cover services outside CQC supervision and may not require registration or a rating. We help assess suitable opportunities as a potential startup income stream.

  • Opportunity-by-opportunity requirement checks
  • Non-regulated service boundaries
  • Market positioning and offer design
  • Pricing and cash-flow modelling
  • Bid library and mobilisation planning
A clear compliance boundary

Not every care-sector tender requires CQC registration, but the scope and qualification rules must be checked carefully. No regulated personal care may be delivered until the required registration is in place. The client remains responsible for regulatory decisions and delivery at all times.

Tangible assets, not generic advice.

Your exact scope is agreed after feasibility. The programme is designed to leave you with a functioning business system and evidence you can continue to use.

01

Commercial case

A practical assessment of demand, target buyers, service scope, startup costs, cash requirements and route to sustainable revenue.

02

Provider blueprint

A coordinated roadmap covering company setup, leadership, systems, governance, compliance responsibilities and operating readiness.

03

CQC readiness pack

Support with the statement of purpose, policies, quality framework, evidence plan and Registered Manager preparation where registration applies.

04

Early-income strategy

A screened pipeline of relevant opportunities outside regulated activity, with qualification requirements and delivery boundaries made clear.

05

Contract toolkit

Reusable bid evidence, pricing tools, service descriptions, mobilisation plans and a controlled process for selecting opportunities.

06

Launch and growth plan

Each phase creates an evidence base for the next, so commercial ambition stays connected to operational reality.

04

Identify suitable tenders and services outside CQC-regulated activity that can build relationships and commercial momentum.

05

Contract readiness

Create pricing tools, mobilisation plans, evidence and a reusable bid library for suitable opportunities.

06

Before you begin.

Clear expectations protect both the quality of care and the commercial plan.

01Can we earn revenue before CQC registration?+

Potentially. Some tenders and commissioned services sit outside CQC-regulated activity and may not require CQC registration or a rating. They can provide an early source of income for a new care company. Requirements vary, so every opportunity and proposed service must be checked individually. No regulated personal care may be delivered until the required registration is in place.

02How long does the process take?+

It depends on your starting point, leadership team, service model and the regulator's assessment. We set realistic milestones after feasibility and never promise a registration date.

03Do I need care-sector experience?+

A credible service needs suitable care knowledge and leadership. That may sit with a founder, Registered Manager or operating team, but it cannot be treated as a paperwork exercise.

04What does the full programme cost?+

The feasibility review is £3,000 plus VAT and is credited in full if you proceed. The wider programme is scoped after feasibility so the work and investment reflect your actual needs.

05Do you guarantee registration or contracts?+

No. Regulatory decisions and contract awards remain with the relevant bodies. We build readiness, strengthen evidence and improve your ability to compete credibly.
